Hi! I’m Charlotte!

A passionate 22 year old photographer based along the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I was raised in the coastal town of Ocean City, where the beautiful beaches and sunsets first shaped my creative perspective. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, my work has been displayed through online outlets and social media, as well as in an exhibition in Salisbury University’s Gallery 128. This year, I have also had the pleasure of receiving the ‘Walter C. Thurston Memorial Award’ for photography.

Artist Statement

My work is driven by a desire to create photographs that feel intimate, honest, and deeply human. I am drawn to the in-between moments, the spaces where vulnerability and connection exist. I believe that the most powerful images come from authenticity, making an effort to always allow my subjects to be themselves. My style utilizes deep, atmospheric lighting to enhance the feeling held in each frame, creating a sense of intimacy that lingers beyond. I take much of my inspiration from cinema and music, which is why my style often feels vintage or movie-like. As I continue my artist journey, my hope is to constantly pursue emotional truth within others as well as myself.
